The liberal model of operation does not entrench itself in its own trench

This article lays the foundation for the purpose of these pages and introduces the idea of a communal and participatory approach. Discussion can take place in the Forum, and group formation can start using the Groups tool (see the menu).
Our time is filled with different kinds of liberalisms, so much so that it has become confusing and difficult to distinguish between them.
It is essential to understand them, as they are used to justify how our lives and societal structures are governed, and they reveal the crucial dividing line of our time: the difference in the content of citizenship.
Liberalism first appeared as an ideal during the Enlightenment, then lived through the French Revolution, and entered European vocabulary in the 1810s.
It was a political ideology and a set of ideal values, born out of the dismantling of the class society and the mercantilist economic system.
There has been a rush under the banner of liberalism since Marxism collapsed, and the right no longer had to be helmet-wearing, stiff-necked clergy. Liberalism is a challenging foundation for political parties due to its non-dogmatic nature.

- LIBERAL CONSCIENCE MAGAZINE´S IDEA

Liberalism doesn't function in this world as a traditional political party structure but as an ethical and ideological framework.
Yet, liberalism as a mindset has found its way into progressive factions within various political parties, from moderate conservatives to the new green left and even agrarian parties.
According to Bertrand Russell, liberalism is the other side of the coin alongside fraternity and equality, which are central to democratic socialism and liberal democracy. While it is a sibling to social democracy, what sets it apart is its embrace of freedom of thought.
As an attitude, liberalism goes beyond mere tolerance that looks down on others. Social liberalism is an intellectual movement, and thus, a looser structure without factionalism or class-based thinking suits it better than a party organization.
The ways of working must be renewed because today's challenges are so different from those faced when political institutions were born. There are plenty of opportunities.
The development of information networks, artificial intelligence, and digital communication allows for encounters and discussions, from agitprop events to webinars, all from a device in one's pocket.
Work has already begun to explore new opportunities for global and "glocal" community networking. Digitalization and artificial intelligence offer more possibilities than ever to experiment and act in new ways, unconstrained by place.
A liberal may not be a great agitator, but they are an excellent justifier, well-equipped with good arguments.
The radical task of liberals in our time, the agenda, is clear in this new millennium: to save humanity from destruction.
We must look at things in a new way, which is not uncommon. Progress in history is connected to this: innovation, ideas, and the ability to bring them to fruition.
We are at a great turning point. Momentum must be seized, and action must be taken because the alternative is fatal.
Economic and political doctrines haven't worked in the last 20 years, despite progress in reducing extreme poverty. The global financial system is threatened by a casino culture, and unemployment threatens the majority of the population.
The situation resembles the interwar period, with fascism and hateful extremist rhetoric rising as nationalism turns inward, fueled by misinterpretations of history.

It's also overlooked that the most successful nations of the last century have been those that embraced immigration: the United States, Canada, Australia, Sweden, and Germany.
We must find something new to replace the outdated systems—something that does not yet exist. We must create and build it ourselves. The world now needs researchers, but above all, citizens who are ready to develop alternative models together, from the grassroots level when needed.
Instead of arguing and being a know-it-all, we should try to use indisputable methods.
Dialogue among the independent and less bound, but not over the heads of, those in power could happen through intergenerational cooperation, with mentorship strategies and a liberal attitude of respect, knowledge, and kindness.
The time has come to tackle only the most significant tasks that transcend borders and isolation. To prevent the destruction of nature, to avoid war, to preserve human dignity, and to uphold equality, freedom, ecological social liberalism, and fraternity against the threat of human and planetary destruction.
Liberals have always been a part of the solution:
"Finding a balance between the economy and nature is necessary, and income and benefits must be distributed more fairly." – A liberal perspective on sustainable development.
"Limiting growth is the only way to ensure the survival of our planet for future generations." – A liberal policy goal.
"Innovation, new ideas, and thinking are prerequisites for a sustainable future, and we must seize this momentum." – A liberal call to action.
"The equal utilization of immigration and openness is key to achieving success and prosperity." – A liberal vision of a global society.
"The outdated conservative, self-serving, 'neo'-liberal economic doctrines of the industrial age must be overturned and reformed to meet today's challenges." – The adaptive capacity of liberal politics.
"From close to far. Active citizen participation and cooperation are essential for developing alternative glocalization models." – A liberal belief in community and grassroots action.
Initial Assumptions
The world must be Saved.
Parties are outdated structures.
Liberalism doesn't work within a party structure.
The ideology spreads across party lines: liberals function best free from interest-group thinking and dogmatic opposition within a community of cooperation.
Humans are defined by their community.
Call for Action
Liberals worldwide, network so you can share reasonable ideas and engage in dialogue across generations, gender, nations, religions, and prejudices.
Mentoring and agora models exemplify new cooperative strategies for our time.
The new life of humanity must be envisioned based on current realities, not the attitudes of yesterday, but by striving for positive change.
Mentoring is a much more intimate form of joint action than leadership from a position of power. It involves giving and receiving on both sides.
In mentoring, the "student" is ultimately responsible for their own learning. Knowledge cannot be directly "transferred," nor can someone be forced to learn if they are uninterested in absorbing the knowledge.
True knowledge exchange and mutual respect without generational prejudice help in this fast-paced time of change.

Way to work together
Mentorship and Agora Models as
Examples of New Cooperation:
Humanity's new life must be shaped by current realities, not by yesterday’s attitudes, but by experience and what has been lived, with the goal of striving for positive change.
Mentorship is a much more intimate form of collaboration than leadership from a position of power. It involves both giving and receiving, on both sides.
The "student" is ultimately responsible for their own learning. Knowledge cannot be directly "transferred," nor can someone be forced to learn from observations if they are not interested. Genuine exchange of knowledge and skills, along with mutual respect without generational prejudice, helps in this time of rapid change.
Therefore, the mentor does not possess the only knowledge or truth, and believing so prevents interaction.
The second obligation of dialogue is to engage directly, either through digital interaction or in-person encounters, and to convince the other person that they need the knowledge and experience the mentor offers, while the older generation must have a desire to learn from the younger.
In integration models, everything is based on overcoming the trust barrier in the transfer of generational knowledge and the ways of living in the new homeland.
Therefore, the mentor must establish a good relationship with the student for them to learn, and vice versa.
Here lies a real opportunity to adapt to this intelligent era’s new radical technology and the younger generation's new ways of working.
Knowledge transfer can no longer be just intergenerational; it must also be a natural means to welcome new countrymen—companions—and foster sisterhood among women. This could also be the foundational idea and export model for integration efforts for immigrants, fraternity, and equality—moving from a traditional fear of the other to the smart age.
It would be a mutually beneficial service for participants, a time-honored means of passing down knowledge and life experiences through the generations.
We owe it to our forefathers and foremothers—and to the world.
The iron law of oligarchy must be re-examined and re-established; organizations tend to forget the original purpose of their existence. Their goals tend to shift over time, due to changes in the environment or leadership!
The reason for action must be re-assessed...
This applies to everyone—values, structures, and principles, including ourselves.
We face regression and the populist far-right, the destructive economic doctrine of greed, overconsumption, and the spread of misinformation—a difficult adversary that, through its big lie, is deaf to the facts of history and science.

Information Brief
Summary of the article:
Economic growth no longer guarantees well-being at an advanced level, and with population
growth, it threatens the future of the planet.
We need new economic models that focus on sustainability and equality.
Explanation of the way forward:
The challenge presented in the article addresses the issue of growth and the need to find new models. It states that continuous economic growth no longer guarantees well-being in developed countries to the same extent and that population growth makes the situation unsustainable.
According to the author, we should focus more on reducing the economy and promoting equality. This does not mean scarcity but rather resourcefulness and well-being.
The keys to the solution lie in developing new, alternative models and cooperation, not in outdated economic doctrines.
Beware of Extremist Movements! The current situation can be compared to the time between the world wars when right-wing and left-wing extremist movements gained power unchallenged due to underestimation.
We now need researchers and citizens ready to develop new solutions together.
